Cooking With The Seasons: Wild Garlic & Fiddleheads Veggie Mix

I love going to the farmer’s market when the veggies start to come out! Wild garlic is usually in season in May, and only lasts a couple of weeks, but you can probably still find it in a jar at some markets.

Asparagus and fiddleheads are two of my favourite veggies because they are so easy to prepare and cook!

Cooking With The Seasons: Asparagus Salad

Every year I get excited when the weather warms up because it means that I can go to the farmer’s market for fresh produce!

Cooking with seasonal fruits and vegetables is the ultimate goal for me… First, because I just love to try new recipes, and second I know that the produce is as fresh as it can be (which means it has more nutrients!)

I also love shopping local and supporting the farmers in my area.

Unlike what most people think, cooking with the seasons is not hard, nor time consuming… especially when you’ve got the “Cooking With The Seasons” Recipe Series I’m going to share with you over the upcoming weeks.
