Dr. Gibson’s Top 9 Nutrition Books

Eat By Design

Following last week’s Eat By Design Seminar several Practice Members have asked me to offer up a list of my favourite nutrition books.

And as I mentioned at the seminar, I too find it frustrating that there are so many diet and health books that continue to come out on a regular basis many of which completely contradict one another all written by seemingly intelligent and experienced “experts” in the field.  Unfortunately, this will always be true no matter what, which is why I thought it would be important for me to post this list to help you cut through all of the hype.

The Most Overlooked Requirement For Optimal Health

Think By Design

It’s an easy mistake to make – thinking of creating optimal health as involving only physical actions.  Every week you address the brain-body connection through specific chiropractic care, properly fuel your body via Eat By Design foods and receive adequate exercise by following Move By Design protocols.  You experience more energy, better sleep, a stronger immune system and clearer thinking….  The assumption is you’re doing everything you need to live an extraordinary life and the results speak for themselves.

All You Need To Know

Power By Design

Pretend that you know absolutely nothing about Chiropractic. To appreciate the extent of the nervous system, just look at Christopher Reeves, the actor who played Superman. He fell from a horse and injured his spinal cord. The result? His brain could no longer talk to his body. The function of EVERYTHING diminished and he eventually lost his life to an infection that most would have resisted.

For The Love Of Life

Life By Design

Please understand that life is our most precious value.  Every love and desire that we have is based upon the fact that we live.  When we die, our world — and everything in our world — ceases to exist.

If you love anything at all, you must by default, love to live first!  Everything else comes second.

Intertwined with this concept of life is the idea of health.  It is a pillar of life.  You cannot be fully alive if you are not fully healthy.  Your level of health is directly proportional to your level of life.  If your health begins to fail, your life begins to become difficult.  You cannot care as much for others, and you cannot accomplish all your own hopes and dreams.
